1. Unusual, patented thimble made for stitchers with LONG NAILS. This was patent # 140525, for Joy Bradley in 1944, and was manufactured by SHAW & LUCAS, INC, Glendale, CA. The material is apparently a non-ferrous, stainless steel, which is not attracted to a magnet, but is rust and tarnish proof. ROUND INDENTATIONS on top, and UNIQUE, TEARDROP-SHAPED INDENTATIONS ON THE SIDES. There is a CYLINDRICAL PAD inside the thimble upon which the end of the finger rests, allowing the long nail to extend comfortably into the recess. sz. 9. Excellent, unused, condition. SEVERAL AVAILABLE. BOX NOT INCLUDED! No holes, dents, creases or wear. See my pictures that have been enlarged to show detail. THANKS FOR LOOKING! SEVERAL AVAILABLE . Save on shipping by buying several thimbles by email from me. Don't use the shopping cart when you do this. $11 + $2 shipping in a bubble envelope + $.75 insurance (if desired).
